After spending the last twelve months releasing single tracks online to a rapidly forming fan base on the first of every month, Oh Wonder have released the final track ‘Heart Hope’ to complete the London duo’s self-titled debut LP. The album is now available in its entirety via Dew Process / UMA.
To date, each Oh Wonder track released has topped the Hype Machine chart and, altogether have garnered an incredible 39 million streams across SoundCloud and Spotify. They’ve also featured in Spotify’s Viral 50 Top Ten in the UK, US and Global charts. Australian fans alone are responsible for over 1.2 million streams on Spotify.
Last month, Oh Wonder made their live debut on the legendary BBC Radio 1 Maida Vale Sessions. Watch Oh Wonder perform their beautiful ‘Radio 1 Track Of The Day’ ‘Drive’, where they were joined by a full live band.
Oh Wonder are about to embark on a twenty-three date world wide tour which kicks off September 16 in London, with two sold out shows at The ICA, then on to sold-out shows in Paris, Los Angeles and New York City. The duo will return home for a string of live European dates, finishing up with two sold-out headline shows at Village Underground.
Australian fans will be able to see Oh Wonder perform for the first time in the country this Summer, when they are scheduled to play alongside the likes of Foals, Bloc Party and Gary Clark Jr. at The Falls Music and Arts Festival as well as Southbound.
