Brisbane’s Last Dinosaurs are back with their brand new single, ‘Evie’, the first track from their long-awaited second album, due for release later this year. ‘Evie’ is the sonic stepping-stone that fuses Last Dinosaurs’ trademark fizzing guitar pop, with richer layers and defined synth textures.
“It was the first song I wrote after our first album, but the last song we finished for this album. So in a way it was the most natural, and at the same time it was so difficult to perfect. The song is about the idea of having that naive optimism for something desired but unattainable.” – Frontman Sean Caskey
The band also announce a national tour of the same name, playing intimate venues across the country. The ‘Evie’ tour kicks of in Brisbane then on to Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth this winter prior to their scheduled performance at Splendour In The Grass.
