DARLIA SIGNS WITH DEW PROCESS; NEW SINGLE OUT TODAY    1901/01/01

“The most exciting new guitar band in the UK.” – BBC Radio 1, Nigel Harding

“Rising Blackpool band spearheading the latest rock revival” – The Guardian

"Music is a bit like a card trick," explains Darlia frontman Nathan Day, and the British three-piece sure know how to play a winning suit. Bursting forth with debut single ‘Queen Of Heartslate last year, Darlia lured fans and industry alike; landing Zane Lowe’s Next Hype Record on BBC Radio 1, full rotation on triple j and catching the keen eye of Dew Process, who today welcome the band to their esteemed roster.

News of the signing is paired with the promise of an Australian exclusive release next month – the ever-so-aptly titled Candyman EP, out Friday, April 11 via Dew Process – and the unveiling of new single, the title track Candyman. Though still early days, the track has already caused a stir online, also named Hottest Record in the World on BBC Radio 1.

“Candyman has Seattle grunge running through its veins and scuzzy, distressed guitars…

Day's unholy howl stands Darlia out as damn fine song-writers with attitude.” – NME

“Candyman is every bit as tasty as its name suggests… swirling refrains,

sprawling rhythms and an echoing chorus will easily cement the

track in your mind.” – The Line Of Best Fit

The partnering video is as sweetly sinister as you’d expect, trailing the sordid steps of a hook-handed murderer and (spoiler alert) watching on as he meets his own gruesome end. It ain’t one for the fainthearted
