New Single ‘Tear It Down’ – Available Friday
Espiritus EP out October
Ballarat trio Twinsy are back with their anthemic new single ‘Tear It Down’, the first off the band’s Espiritus EP due out October 31 via Dew Process/Universal Music Australia.
Catchy hooks, hardcore drumming and an all-in chorus make ‘Tear It Down’ a trumphiant return for the ‘Ballarfornian’ three-piece, comprised of Michael Belsar (Hunting Grounds), Guy Chappell (Yacht Club DJs) and Jack Craven (Neon Love).
“’Tear It Down’ started coming together while on tour, somewhere between New York and Washington and we ended up finishing it in a tent the day before we played Splendour in the Grass'”
– Guy Chappell on writing ‘Tear It Down’
'It was always about pushing limits; trying to blend ideas that shouldn't work together. Reminiscing about a dream, when you know it's a misplaced nostalgia'
– Michael Belsar on writing ‘Tear It Down’
‘Tear it Down’ is the first taste of Twinsy’s new Espiritus EP set to drop just in time for Summer through their new label Dew Process and featuring special guests Airling, DZ Deathrays, The Cairos, Tchaikovsky and more.
