Our friends at Splendour in the Grass need your help!
While Splendour 2010 was the best Splendour yet, we can't begin to tell you how much better Splendour could become if the Splendid Crew were able to develop the festival on their own, much bigger land.
Splendour's application for a permanent home at North Byron Parklands has gone on public exhibition with the NSW Department of Planning and they need all the positive submissions they can get. If you love Splendour, please take just 30 seconds of your time to visit www.bringsplendourhome.com and complete the online form.
Here's just a few of the reasons why you're going to love the new Splendour site at North Byron Parklands:
*It’s incredibly beautiful;
*It’s really big - (660 acres, compared with Woodford’s 400 acres and 50 acres at Belongil);
*It’s accessible - 20 minutes north of Byron and 30 minutes south of the Gold Coast airport;
*There’s excellent access to/from the Pacific Highway, which runs straight past the site;
*It’s in the magical Byron shire, with beaches, restaurants and markets to explore;
*It will have fantastic camping locations on site;
*There are plenty of other accommodation options nearby.
We can't stress how important your help is in bringing Splendour back to Byron.
Thanks in advance!
