‘Electrical’ is the latest offering from enigmatic young songstress EVES THE BEHAVIOR, taken from her forthcoming debut EP to be released this year via Dew Process / UMA.
Capturing the dark and dramatic side of our heroine, ‘Electrical’ was directed by ARIA Award winning Josh Logue (Daniel Johns, Tkay Maidza, Hilltop Hoods), who claimed the accolade for his conceptual vision on Empire Of The Sun’s ‘Walking On A Dream’ clip. Logue also directed EVES THE BEHAVIOR’s captivating video for ‘TV’, the first installment of a three-part collaboration.
“The Electrical music video is part 2 of a trilogy Hannah and I have been working on based around a series of characters. Part surrealist dream, part reworking of Romeo and Juliet, the video aims to create simple yet mesmerizing imagery working in harmony with the dark and beautiful pop song.” – Josh Logue
“I feel like it’s commenting on the friction between the organic / analogue and the synthetic / digital and the quest to find a meaningful connection between the two. The song is triumphant but it’s also bittersweet. I stumbled out of a sort of numbness into both beauty and gloom. And the simple fact of feeling something made me woozy and victorious at the same time.” EVES THE BEHAVIOR
After stunning performances at Laneway Festival alongside the likes of FKA Twigs, St. Vincent, Little Dragon and Banks earlier this year, EVES THE BEHAVIOR is set to rule the stage at Splendour In The Grass 2015.
