The Living End stream show live  11 July 2011

YouTube Sessions: The Living End presented by Take 40

The Living End’s electric stage show will be streamed live across the world during a very special performance filmed for YouTube sessions presented by Take40. To view this amazing footage and be part of rock history, simply head to at 8pm AEST on Tuesday, July 19th.

Featuring brand new material from their phenomenal new album “The Ending Is Just The Beginning Repeating”, it will be the first time that these songs will be debuted to the universe live and in real time. During a kick arse 45 minute set, Melbourne’s purveyors of punk rock will perform tracks off the new album with a couple of classics thrown in for good measure.

The Living End’s sixth studio album is being hailed as a triumph. “The Ending Is Just The Beginning Repeating” is the band’s most honest album yet. With four platinum albums and one gold album under their belts, The Living End have stepped it up another notch. It’s The Living End trademark sound with bigger riffs, catchier choruses and one eye firmly on stadium-filling, fist-in-the-air chants.

“Epic riffs, singalong choruses and huge production define their best album yet” Rolling Stone ****1/2

Having sold more than 1 million albums worldwide, played countless sold out shows to the thronging masses, enjoyed the adoration of fans from London to New York and been the
inspiration for thousands of tattoos, The Living End are a world class band to be reckoned with.

The Living End recently came in at #4 on Triple J’s Hottest 100 Australian Albums of All Time for their number #1 debut record “The Living End”. The album became the highest selling debut record in Australian music history.

The Living End’s massive September tour sees them sweat it out with performances that have to be seen to be believed. Notorious for giving 110% in the live arena, Chris Cheney lives up to his fearsome reputation as the best guitarist in Australia while Scott Owen’s prowess on the double bass is second to none. Andy Strachan rounds out the trio with a driving drum beat to get the masses heaving.

The Living End’s “The Ending Is Just The Beginning Repeating” is out through Dew Process/UMA on July 22nd, 2011.

Listen out for the second single ‘Song For The Lonely’ debuting on Australia radio from Monday July 18th
