It was with great sadness, and an incredible amount of pain, that Dananananaykroyd were forced to cancel their headlining Sydney show last night. Drummer/vocalist John Baillie Jnr had a heavy fall on the third song into the set, breaking his arm. Tonight's show in Melbourne has also been cancelled.
The band had been one of the standout acts at Splendour in the Grass, with a blistering set that certainly woke up a tired and hung over Super Top audience! Just check out the 4000-strong Wall Of Cuddles! They made friends and fans everywhere they went, including the folks at Triple J, who had the band report backstage at Splendour. The band have a huge European touring schedule ahead of them, including the Reading and Leeds festivals, so we hope you get better soon JBJ! Fingers crossed the band can come back here very, very soon!
